There's just enough room between the chandelier and the wall for you to drop down onto that couch. Watch as Stilton paces and wait for him to face away from the couch. There's not a lot of room to maneuver up here, but luckily we don't have to go far. Drop through the broken roof onto the chandelier. Follow it out until you can climb on top of Stilton's gazebo.

There's a walkway there you can climb to. Stash him, then return to the present.įrom where you knocked out the blue-shirt guard, head back to the manor. Travel back to the past and knock him out as well. Travel back to the present and use the lens to follow that blue-shirt guard until you can take him out. Just watch for the blue-shirt guard that's patrolling the patio in front of him. Knock him out and stash him out of sight. Starting near the house on the ground on the left side, there's an elite that doesn't move. We have to knock out two before we can confront him. There are a total of three guards in the courtyard with Stilton. Once all of the pests are handled, turn your attention to the past. Clear them all out so you can maneuver without concern. There are three wolfhounds on the ground and several bloodfly nests around. In the present, Stilton's back courtyard is just as deserted as the manor. You'll probably land in or next to a bloodfly nest, so just be prepared. Travel to the past and exit through the door to the Back Courtyard.įor ease of movement, travel back to the present. Make sure you're crouching, then watch until the elite is more or less alone. There's an elite guard guarding the door and a couple more patrolling. Open the Timepiece's lens and look at the past. Now you're thinking fourth dimensionally (this will be the only Back to the Future reference we make, we promise).Ĭlimb onto the bloodfly nest you just destroyed and get as close to the door as you can. Travel to the present, walk up to the gate, then back to the past where you've just passed through the locked door. When their conversation is over, they'll leave. Peek through the keyhole or just listen at the door and the guards outside will tell you what you need to do in this mission - get the study door combination from Stilton, who is out back. You're going to be stuck in here, but you need to hear the guards talking outside.

Try out the Timepiece inside Stilton's room. Or you can just straight-up travel to that night - though nothing you're carrying (like a body or a bottle) comes with you. You can use the lens to view, in real time, what is happening in the past. The Timepiece links you to the night three years ago when the Duke's plan started.

The Outsider will appear and give you the Timepiece. The floor is rotted out and you can drop in to chat with him. Turn left from the stairs and go down the hallway to find the room over Stilton. In my psychopath playthrough, I killed her, but I don't think it was mentioned on the end-of-level list.There's an easy to find rune in the room in front of you at the top of the stairs. I don't know if killing Granny Rags has any effect on the rest of the game - in my stealth playthrough, I used a sleep dart on her but the end-of-level actions list only said that I helped Slackjaw escape. The rune in the room after Granny Rags' kitchen is still there for the stealing. If you try to pick up Slackjaw's corpse, Granny Rags attacks you. Slackjaw's belongings consist of some coins and the key you require to proceed. She tells you that you may take his belongings, but to leave the bones for her. I don't know how she recovered his corpse, as I had the skill that turns corpses into ash when I killed Slackjaw. When you finally get to Granny Rags, she has Slackjaw's body in her kitchen, still crispy from being cooked in the furnace. Next, you get interesting some new dialog from the Bottle Street Gang member who survived Granny Rags' attack, saying 'we had no chance without Slackjaw with us'. I was trying not to waste time, so I just killed him as soon as I saw him and missed out on the rune. I played both styles (kill very few, and kill everyone) and I was quite disappointed at how few changes there were on the Granny Rags storyline.įirstly, if you kill him before completing his mission, it looks like there's no way to get into the Captain's Chair Hotel, which contains a bone rune.
